A fake data generator for developers and QA
RNDGen builds mock datasets for testing, demos and database seeding. Pick fields from 240+ types — names, emails, addresses, companies, products, prices, dates, UUIDs, IBANs and test card numbers — or start from a template. Files are generated in your browser, so it is fast and the data you download never leaves your device.
How to generate test data
- Choose a template or add fields and pick a type for each.
- Adjust options: number ranges, date ranges, custom value lists, share of blank values.
- Pick a format, locale and number of rows, then press Download.
Templates
- Users — Accounts with names, emails, usernames, birthdates and addresses that agree with each other.
- Orders — E-commerce orders with customers, products, prices, statuses and timestamps.
- Products — A product catalog with SKUs, categories, prices and stock levels.
- Employees — Staff records with job titles, departments, work emails, hire dates and salaries.
- Payment transactions — Payments with test card numbers, IBANs, amounts and currencies. Safe sandbox values only.
- QA edge cases — Strings that break forms and parsers: Unicode, emoji, empty values, SQL injection and XSS payloads.
Pro and Team add 29 more, from CRM contacts and invoices to server logs, flight bookings and IoT readings. See all templates.

FAQ
How many rows can I generate?
Up to 100,000 rows per file without an account, 1,000,000 with a free account and 5,000,000 on Pro and Team, as many files as you like. See pricing for all limits.
Which formats are supported?
CSV (any delimiter, quote and line ending), Excel .xlsx, JSON (list of objects, list of arrays or keyed object), JSON Lines, SQL for PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite and SQL Server, XML, YAML, Markdown and HTML tables.
Is the generated data realistic?
Fields in the same row are consistent: the email is built from the name, the age matches the birthdate and the ZIP code matches the state. Names, addresses and phone formats follow the chosen locale.
Can I get the same dataset again?
Yes. Every dataset has a seed and a reference date for relative dates and ages. Keep both with the schema and you get identical data on any day, which makes test fixtures reproducible. Share the schema with a link to give colleagues the same setup.
Are the credit card numbers real?
No. They are Luhn-valid test numbers or the official Stripe test cards, meant for payment sandboxes and form validation. They cannot be used for real payments.
